FAQ'S

WHAT IS SPRINT ENDURO?

Picture the most fun enduro special test you’ve ever ridden. Traditional grass tests, flowing woodland trails and gnarly technical sections whilst ripping wide open and as fast as you can. Typically 7-10 minutes per test, you’re racing against the clock and not head-to-head against other riders. The man/woman with the quickest overall time wins!

HOW DO YOU DETERMINE THE WINNER?

With classes separated from beginners(sportsmen) right through to professional level racers, the person with the quickest cumulative time after 8 runs throughout the day wins. As per ACU guidelines, the clubman, expert and championship classes are divided in to subcategories based on competitor engine sizes. Timing is done via a digital transponder system and the clock starts for each rider once they set off in to the special test.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT CLASSES?

Championship - Professional level racers.

Expert - Very competent racers.

Clubman - Competent weekend warriors.

Over 50's - Speaks for themselves.

Vets - Over 40 Riders.

Ladies - As the name suggests, although we do have some quick ladies competing in other classes.

Sportsmen - Less serious weekend warriors.

Youth - 12-16 Year old rippers!!

IS SPRINT ENDURO SPECTATOR FRIENDLY?

As the British Sprint Enduro Championship is usually just one or two special tests, it is one of THE most spectacular forms of Enduro racing. Racers are charging HARD in order to take home the number 1 plate.
